oh my gosh just recently deaf? like, in one ear / partially? or entirely deaf? (unless you don’t feel like sharing that info, I don’t mean to pry)

um but my first fandom was probably the Tsubasa Chronicles (an anime / manga by CLAMP). I wasn’t too active, and just kind of wrote fanfictions, but I suppose it counts. the first fandom I was really involved in was Hetalia. it was a wonderful community and lots of fun for the couple of years I was a part of it uvu!

Andrew Hussie might have a strange method for doing so, but he has a way of getting some Grade A motivation across to his readers

I can’t really pinpoint a time where I started writing fanfiction, to be honest. I had always kind of dabbled in writing as a general kind of thing (I really started in 8th grade).

but somehow I discovered ff.net and thought it was pretty cool and jumped from original writing to fanfiction writing in 9th grade! but I really liked the feedback I could get from writing like that, so I kept going with it. even though it was really really REALLY shitty writing, wow, it was bad. but I stuck with it, and I’ve been writing fanfics for almost six years now :O

my favorite character is most likely Dave (but there are a lot of characters, so it’s hard to choose just one!). part of it is because, as previously mentioned, he pretty much got me into homestuck. but I just really like his character as a whole, and he’s such a precious baby omg

my day, though, has been very good thank you! I didn’t have work so I kind of lazed around and did nothing for a while, and then I got together with a bunch of my friends for a bonfire which was lovely! we do those a lot, but we’ve been kind of lacking this summer which is sad.

and the scariest thing I’ve ever done is kind of a hard question! the most nerve-wracking thing I could think of took place last summer. I play the violin as you may or may not know, and my orchestra took a trip over to Europe to play and tour and stuff!

and I had a solo in one of the pieces we played. I was already nervous about having a solo, but I managed to make it 10x worse in my head because like I was in EUROPE and playing in these huge, old cathedrals and in front of audiences who had a very fine appreciation for classical music (just bc of the culture, y’know?) and wow Beethoven and Mozart played in this city don’t fail them, Andrea.

because you see I had tried getting into it a couple of times before at the request of a friend, but I found act one to be a bit dull. but for some reason, when i saw this gif I thought ‘hey that’s a pretty cool character actually. maybe I can give homestuck another shot!’
